Oddschecker Both Teams To Score
BTTS Meaning?
When placing a 'both teams to score' bet, only normal time – 90 minutes plus any injury time – counts. Any goals scored in extra time or in penalty shootouts do not count. The exception to this is if you have placed a specific bet on an extra time market, such as both teams to score in extra time. Both teams to score, sometimes known as btts, goals galore or goal rush, is a simple bet where you only need both teams in a match to score at least one goal for the bet to win. The beauty of this is the bet can come in at any time, from the first 5 minutes until the last 5 minutes you have always got a chance! Many people like to make. Short answer, no. Both Teams To Score bets only include the game’s standard 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Be careful with cup competitions, since the likes of the FA Cup, Champions League and World Cup will often include extra time at the end of their matches. Both Teams To Score 57.1%% of games in which both teams have scored.
BTTS, meaning both teams to score, or sometimes referred to as 'goal goal', is a highly popular and relatively low stakes football bet where you're backing both teams to score at least one goal before the full-time whistle, or, alternatively, both teams not to score. While there are different variations to the BTTS bet, such as betting on both teams to score in both halves or adding predictions for a winner, the meaning of BTTS is simple: you don't have to predict the winner of the match. In fact, who wins does not matter at all. As long as both teams score (or don't score) in the matches you have picked, you will have yourself a winning BTTS bet!
Do you offer BTTS Win Tips?
Yes! If you're looking to place a bet on both teams to score and also predict a winner, every one of our fixtures has a BTTS and win tip available. Adding a ‘win’ bet to your BTTS is very popular for boosted odds and is also very effective with accumulator (acca) bets, making it perfect for Saturday’s bankers.
What is a 'banker'?
While there is no such thing as a guaranteed winning bet, a banker is what you believe to be a sure thing, a given, the bet you are most confident will come through. If you're looking at a match up and you know both teams have attacking styles of play resulting in high scoring matches, you can use that knowledge to place strategic BTTS bets. Super Hot Tips gives you that knowledge. To help find your weekend banker, simply review the stats against each fixture listed above.
Why are BTTS bets so popular in the UK?
The reason a 'both teams to score' bet is such a popular betting market is because it is so simple and effective. It doesn't rely on a team winning or a draw. It's as simple as both teams scoring within a match, which is also a very common outcome, particularly in a competitive fixture. BTTS bets also allow you to enjoy your bet for the entirety of the match, as we've all seen someone hit the back of the net with one second to go. Sit back and when the final whistle blows you will see just how many fixtures result in both teams scoring and celebrate a win even if your favourite team hasn't.

Does BTTS count in extra time?

Both teams to score is a great way of betting on all types of football matches. On the surface Both Teams To Score (BTTS) is a pretty straightforward concept, but it's very hard to identify the right matches. We developed a easy system to select the best candidate matches in which both teams will score.BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE BETTING STRATEGY
The key question when betting on Both Teams To Score is 'What kind of teams should I choose and which ones do I avoid?'
Obviously, placing a bet on both teams to score should only be done on matches where you can see that there is a very high chance of both team scoring. Generally, BTTS tipsters alway look for offensive minded teams facing each other.
Furtheremore, we do not want a gross mis-match where the home team are massive favourites. The best choices are matches in which the away team are slightly stronger (bear in mind that if both teams are priced at 6/4 then the away team are effectively the stronger pick).
Keeping track of individual team stats is vital. in 2012/13, for example, Tottenham were the team to back in the Both Teams To Score market as they scored and conceded in 71.1% of their matches, and taking into account only the away matches, the percentage jumps to 78.9%. So, if they have a history of 0-0 draws then maybe it's better to avoid backing BTTS.
Another good habit is looking for motivation of any of the teams and placing bets as close to kick off as possible. This allows you to consider team news. If a star striker is injured the chances of that team scoring obviously fall.
BTTS BETTING STRATEGY: RULES
If you do not have enough time to consider all these factors, you can use our mathematical system in which you will assign points to every match according to a set of rules.
Looking at the last 6 matches, we apply our own marking system
HOME TEAM POINTS

R3) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 scored per game
R4) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 conceded per game
R5) -2 points for every 0-0 draw
AWAY TEAM POINTS

R7) +1 point for every away match when both teams scored
R8) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 scored per game
R9) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 conceded per game
R10) -2 points for every 0-0 draw
MATCH POINTS

R11) +2 points if the away team is slightly favourite
